Group Hex Vol. 2
Group Hex Vol. 2
It is finally here, Group Hex Vol. 2!
Brought to you by the Library of the Damned, Group Hex Vol 2 features stories from the twisted minds of Canadian authors. It has everything from suspense and supernatural, to demons which feast on the flesh of men.
This also just so happens to be my first story submitted to an anthology series! So, if you have been enjoying my short stories here on Twisted Tales Studio, I encourage you to check it out, and leave a review on Amazon. Even a handful of reviews can go a long way to promote the Group Hex anthology series, and support horror genre writers.
Check out my new story Evidence exclusively in Group Hex Vol 2.

Here is a short preview of my story available only in Group Hex Vol. 2
“My name is Sarah, and to whomever finds this tape … this is my account of the disappearance of Jaime Walker.”
Detective Wayne Barnett leaned back in his home office chair, his expression thoughtful. After a long pause his thick callused hands reached out and reset the video to frame one, and hit play. The first few seconds of the digital video began to roll. Detective Barnett leaned in close to the speaker of his laptop and listened carefully to the sound of the recorded voice, paying careful attention to the pitch and speech patterns.
“Definitely a kid’s voice,” the detective murmured aloud to himself. He made a note of his findings in the spiral notepad on the desk beside him. This case was getting stranger and stranger by the hour.
On the evening of June 3rd 2017, the Detective had been called to a residential area in the western end of Toronto. Earlier that afternoon, neighbors had phoned 911 reporting smoke and the keening of a fire alarm coming through the open kitchen window. Police and fire department arrived at the scene expecting to deal with a kitchen fire, but instead found a slaughter house. Upon entering the home, first responders found the body of a woman in her late sixties. She was found in the front hallway, not three feet from the front door, and had sustained severe lacerations to her arms and face to the point where a visual confirmation of identity was impossible. They found a second body in the kitchen, a woman in her early thirties, with nearly identical lacerations. The burner on the kitchen stove was still lit when first responders arrived at the scene. They’d discovered that the cause of the smoke had been a slice of flesh that had fallen on the hot stove top and begun to blacken.
